In 1992, Jeff and Wanda Haggerty swapped their hi-tech careers for hardware and opened Haggerty ACE Hardware in Cooperstown, NY.

Fifteen years later, the store has doubled in size and has added Benjamin Moore paint, Stihl power equipment, workwear and a nursery.

Whether your needs are paint, tools, electrical, plumbing, cleaning supplies, housewares, automotive, sporting goods, clothing or seasonal items such as lawn and garden and nursery, Haggerty Hardware is your one stop shop. Services include computerized paint-color matching, glass and screen repair, pipe threading, knife sharpening, in-store lock servicing and key cutting. We also fill propane tanks and have a full line of Weber grills.

In addition, located at Maple Ridge Plaza, 4773 State Highway 28, is the Haggerty Rental and Repair shop. The repair shop services and repairs all types of power equipment. We are also a warranty center for most major brands. The rental line includes air compressors and tools, concrete mixers, drills, earth moving and compacting equipment, carpet cleaners, generators, heaters, power washers and chain saws, just to name a few.
